Well ok!
But this has been bugging me for a long time now. If I was to promote a user to be a moderator. Im just talking hypothetically.
Can the user I promoted, change my current status as a creator and lower me to be a writer? Or can he/she have the ability to ban or unban me?

How to become...
if you join a site as a registered user or writer (if it's an invite only site) the site creator or administrator is typically the one that would promote you. You can ask at any time, but the best way to get promoted is to be active on the site and prove your worth for a bit first. If the site creator or administrator sees that you are a benefit to the site and community they will be more likely to promote you to a higher status.

Can you create student accounts without email accounts?
Make the wiki non-private and have the students sign up. Once you make the wiki private again, you can promote them to Writer status.

A Whole New Pack Of Idea's!!!
I thought up of a lot of ideas that can help make wetpaint wikis better.
1. A "Who's Online" To display who is currently on your wiki. Also a logout/login feature. Let users see who just logged in and who logged out.
2. "Current Status" When you are on the who's online page. You may want to know what that user is doing or viewing. Example: bullethead23 : Chatting and etc.....
3. "Viewers" Also here is a another feature that shows you who is viewing the same web content you are currently viewing.
4. "Approval of Contents" If you are the orginal site creator or administrador, and you need help with your wiki so you decide to promote someone to be a writer or moderator upon requests. If you think that person is trustworthy but have second thoughts. This will be a brillant feature. If the individual you promoted edited some contents on certain web pages. After editing the contents there will be a "Approval Letter" to see if the creator agree with the contents or not. If he doesn't then the creator can deny the edited contents and restore the page to it's regular form.
5."New Fourm" The fourm now is not what I expected it to be. I was hoping to see something way different.
6: "Uncategorized" If I am working on a uncategorized page. Then I dont want others to see what update I am doing to the specific page. We should have this feature if you currently working on pages and dont want others to see.
7. "Moving Pages in Uncategorized" I am unable to move one page from the uncategorized to another uncategorized page. If I want to do such task then I will have to move both pages from the uncategorized and merge them together. Then move the page back to the uncategorized section.
Note: I do not have enough additional characters words left. I may post more suggestion.
