What are Permissions?
Permissions can be thought of as "what am I allowed to do on this site?"Permissions can be broken up into two areas:
- Site Permissions - Settings that affect the whole site. Example) Private sites verus sites that allow anonymous editing have very different permissions schemes.
- User Permissions - Settings that affect an individual user. Example) A registered user has different permissions (more restricted) than a moderator.
