OpenID
How can I use OpenID on Wetpaint sites?
New users can join this wiki using their OpenID credentials.
OpenID is an authentication service that lets you define a user ID (your personal URL) and password that can be used when you create your Wetpaint account the first time you join a wiki. You can sign in to web sites that support the OpenID sign-in protocol. The chief benefit to using OpenID is that it helps limit the number of IDs and passwords you have to manage and remember for web sites you visit frequently.
Visitors to this site that have an OpenID provider should click "Join This Wiki" on their first visit. During the join process, they will establish their OpenID URL as their sign in credentials. On subsequent visits to the site, they will click on sign in, then the OpenID link to complete sign in using their OpenID URL.
Note: You can NOT associate an OpenID with an Already created Wetpaint Account.

I'm new at the OpenID thing, so take this for what its worth. However, when I try to add my OpenID, with a wordpress domain, I'm told it can't be verified by wetpaint. Difficult to understand, seeing as I cut and pasted it directly from my wordpress OpenID page. I consistently have had issues trying to log in; I got farther when I had the wrong OpenID! At least it prompted me to go to wordpress. Further, what should I expect if/when my domain is recognized? Will I have to go to wordpress and do something, or is it taken care of from here? Thanks!

I made an account and associated my OpenID. When I go to create a site there is no option to input my OpenID. It asks for my username ID and password but I don't have a password because I used OpenID so I can't finish step 3. Help please!
