Move a Thread

Can I move threads?

Yes, if you are the site moderator, administrator, or creator.

To move a thread:
  • Make sure that you are signed in as a moderator, admin, or site creator
  • Click on the thread subject heading
  • Click on the "Move this Thread" link from the "Manage Thread" drop down.
Move Comments - Wetpaint Central
  • You will then be prompted to pick the new page you would like the thread to be on. Once you indicate the new page, click on the "Select Location" button to confirm the move.

when i click on the manage thread it doesnt say move thread what is wrong im the creater so thats not the problem

Can a thread be broken into parts and them moved? For example, if there is a Suggestions thread and there was some discussion about one of the suggestions, could you create a new thread, Specific Idea, and move that part of the Suggestions thread to Specific Idea?
