Can I move threads?

Yes, if you are the site moderator, administrator, or creator.

To move a thread:
  • Make sure that you are signed in as a moderator, admin, or site creator
  • Click on the thread subject heading
  • Click on the "Move this Thread" link from the "Manage Thread" drop down.
Move Comments - Wetpaint Central
  • You will then be prompted to pick the new page you would like the thread to be on. Once you indicate the new page, click on the "Select Location" button to confirm the move.

Hi,

I used to move thread from one subpage to another without anyproblem. But, starting lastweek, I could not do that, there is the list of subpages do not appear in the list of new location to select. What should I do?

I tried following the instructions to move a thread that a member had created under the photo section. I wanted to move it to the main discussion forum. However in the drop down box for MANAGE THREAD all I get is the option to delete it - not to move it..
Any ideas ?? PLEASE

On forums this can be done so that if there are too many threads of the same subject they can all be moved into one. This would help cut down the number of threads on a wiki and also draw members from those different threads into same thread.

One bad result of this would be the amount of pages the completely moved together thread would be.
