Each site is configured on creation with a default Member Profile Template. Site creators and administrators can edit the default profile to customize it for the site topic.
Having a simple template to follow is a great way to get new site members started. Profile templates also help members know what they have in common with other site members. Want to ask each member what their favorite movie is? Drop it in the template. Curious about their home town? You can add that too.

Customize the Member Profile Template
- Open a wiki & sign in as an administrator
- Open the Communications tab
- Open the Member Profile Template link
- Click on the "EasyEdit" button…
and the toolbar will appear.
- Type in your new text, edit what's there, or paste in text from another document. You can use the formatting buttons in the toolbar to change the alignment and format of the text, just as you would with a word processing program.
- When you're satisfied, click on the "Save" button in the toolbar.
