How about a wiki newsletter for each of your sites. It gets sent out to each member montly or weekly. And you can design how you want it to look, like you do in your profile. You can add text, images, links and stuff.

Our wetpaint site is very active every day. Usually, by the time I get home, I have 100 messages, easily. It would be nice to see a box that we could check that would check every message on the page at the same time instead of having to check each individual message in order to delete it. Every other email I have used has this option, it would be nice to see it here too!

It would be very useful as the Wiki administrator to be able to delete members. For example, one member cannot login and cannot retrieve his password (cannot find his email address), but he is listed as a member. It doesn;t seem right to "ban" him but it woul dbe great to delete him and send a new invitation.
Similarly, I am using my Wiki for a course--I would like to delete all the members at the end of the semester and leave the Wiki intact for the next semester. Otherwise I have to copy all of the content, choose another, less clear name, and then delete this Wiki. |

I greatly enjoy working with wetpaint. However, there is one feature that I would like to see changed: In the discussion forum, there is - as far as I can see - no possibility to structure the questions per subject. Being able to do so would greatly enhance the utility! (for an example, see http://www.concertina.net/forums/ ). Thanks for considering to implement such an option!

The site I linked from crawls because it is loaded with old outdated graphics and maps.
I can not tell this to the site owner because there is no required link to the site owner. Can you suggest to your users that their sites will run faster if they do not link to endless graphics (and in fact, html can be written to load text before grapics) ... and please require a web owner link on your pages.

Hello Wetpaint Wizards.
Just a point of interest here: How about giving the up and coming sites a little bit of coverage on the Boards.....just a small promotion from here can lead to massive memberships on the small wikis...give us all a chance ehh. So how about it Guys and Gals support the smaller sites and these will then become contendors against the big noises...........speculate to accumalate and all that... best wishes kev

I find some of the tabs list at the top of the page do not suit any purpose for me. It would great to be able to hide, eliminate, or something alone that line to help me with the web site's appearance development

1. I formatted a particular title centering it to the page. Easy edit easily ignores it and puts the title to the left of the page.
2. I put the author's name to the right of the page but the Easy edit puts it to the left margin of the page. 3. I took a Word Document copy and pasted on my wiki page. It is shown correctly but when saved it lost the whole formatting. It is difficult to contribute any articles if this problem is not solved or a suggestion is given to retain the original format of the document. Kindly post a solution/ reply to nvkrao@mail.com

I went to sign on to become a member - You site keeps telling my that my email address is already in use.
By Whom? I am the lead on ccastle562@charter.net. You sent me an email. I tried to sign up your macro respone tells me that my email address is ALREADY in use. I own that email address as it is my only address. I can't find any help. I will have to report this to Charter Communications. I have not signed on to your page before. I recieved a email today and wondered why. I still do not have any answers. (your it) now.

I want to make sure everyone in the Central Florida area is aware of the candlelight vigil details. Is there a way to message all of them to look a the Orlando page and then if they have Facebook to go there (link is on Orlando page) and add the event to their profile?

I admit I am a newbie to wiki land but, is there any way to sort threads by date order? Finding all relevant entries to a problem at wetpaint central AND finding the most recent post is a bit daunting. I figure I am either repeating something already discussed somewhere else (making the fine crew of wetpaint repeat themselves) OR I am missing valid information because I don't want to scan 5+ pages of posts (and again making the staff have to repeat themselves).

Is it possible to have the log on scrip errors more accurately reflect the error? Rather than have the same error message ("we can't find you ....") appear for every log on error, it would be nice to have errors that actually stated what the problem is/was. Might save the staff some effort as well? just an idea.

First thing I see when I visit this site:
"For optimal Wetpaint performance we recommend the latest versions of Internet Explorer or Firefox. For Mac users, we recommend Firefox instead of Safari." Treat all visitors equally. When does equality begin and when does it end? Is it ok to discriminate based upon what web browser I use? It's not ok.

I got two very easy suggestions for wetpaint, and trust me because I think they will help make wetpaint sites run a bit smoother.
1 - Edit your posts? You can quote and reply....but you can't edit your posts? What if you spell something wrong or make an error, it will be easier then replying and fixing your mistake. An edit your post button would be much easier and help reduce spam. 2 - Admins{Infractions} How come admins can't send infractions to members that have broken the rules? It would be much easier then just warning people. Like if a member gets 3 - 4 infractions, they are banned automatically, another easier idea. So what do you guys think?
