How do I lock a page? If you are the site creator, administrator, or moderator you are able to lock pages. Locking a page prevents non-moderators

Locking pages
It would be a lot more convenient to have the option to lock subsequent pages when the page they stem from is locked. Like if you have a page dedicated to a show, and you have pages that stem from that that contain each episode. It would be nice to have the option to when you lock the "show page" that you would have the option to lock all the "episode pages" that stem from the "show page".

Locking pages for certain users to edit only
I would like users to have the ability to lock a newly created page so that only they and admins/mods could edit them. This setting could be changed later, but it would be great to be able to let users of my wiki have their own page as well as open pages.

Locking pages when people are editing
There have been numerous times for me and my users that info is lost because they misunderstood the message about the page being newer. It would be great if, like other wikis, the page locks when it is being edited and then unlocks when they finish or after a set period.

choosing pages to lock..
I think that instead of going to each and every-one of ur pages to lock them, a list would come up, so u can choose which pages u would like to lock, etc. thats just my opinion cause i get tired of going to every page and locking them! thanks

Sorry but you can not do that at the moment
Another option would be to change your settings so everyone can edit the pages, then lock all the pages that you don't want edited. only make the people you fully trust Moderators. Instructions on locking pages can be found here:

I can't Lock the page?
I can't lock this page!
Browser: Internet Explorer 7
OS: Windows Vista.
Page it happened on: http://www.ndsfriendcodes.info/page/Team+Fortress+2
I try to click on the "more tools" link and ti will open for a second then disappear. Everything else works but I can't keep the more tools thing open long enough for me to lock the page.
What should I do?
And I just got my computer a few days ago. So it shouldn't be the cookies or anything.

locked in
It really would help if the "locked in" part was stressed at the beginning. I have my friends in my wiki, and now we've figured out how we would like to use the wiki - of course now we can't change the template!!
