Keyboard Shortcuts

Wetpaint has keyboard shortcuts. Who knew?

They're not documented (until now), but they're nice to know about. Below is a list of all accepted keyboard shortcuts for use while in EasyEdit mode.

Keyboard Shortcut	Result	Unsupported Browsers
Ctrl+B	Makes selected text bold.	Firefox, Safari
Ctrl+I	Makes selected text italic.
Ctrl+U	Makes selected text underlined.
Ctrl+K	Launches "Add Link" dialog for selected text.
Ctrl+S	Save
ESC	Cancel
F7	Spellcheck
Ctrl+C	Copy Selected Text
Ctrl+Z	Undo
Ctrl+V	Paste
Ctrl+Y	Redo
Delete	Delete Selected Text
Ctrl+A	Selects everything on the page
Crtl+X	Cut

If there's a keyboard shortcut not on this list that you want added, add a request section to this page or add a comment below. Keep in mind that some shortcuts are already being used by your Operating System or browser, and won't have any effect on the page you are editing.

save and continue editing

Is there a way to save changes but continue editing? C-s throws me out of edit mode.

editing original entry of name

I quickly typed in my name and hit enter automatically before looking at it. So my name that everyone sees comes up misspelled. Embarrassing! The Easyedit tool bar won't allow me to correct this. Does anyone know how to do this?
