The new year brought with it tons of great updates that we think you will enjoy! Content Modules allow you to quickly view the latest photo's, threads, and members of you Wetpaint site. Posting threads just got a whole lot easier, thanks to the auto "post a new thread" area located just above every
pages threads. And finally, we have replaced the "Recent Activity" drop down tab with a much improved "What's New?" Section.
Content Modules
To add a Content Module, click on the "Content Module" button, located on you Easy Edit menu bar. You can choose from:
- A New Member Spotlight, which displays your sites newest members.
- A Photo Gallery, which shows the newest photos uploaded to your wiki.
- A Recent Site Activity Module, which is like a mini What's New? section.
What's New With What's New?
January brings a totally revamped What's New? section, complete with:
- A Dashboard, which displays the latest posts, edits, members, profile images, profile threads, and profile edits.
- A Pages section, which updates you on the newest, most active, uncategorized, and deleted pages of your wiki.
- An area where you can view and restore deleted Photos.
- The Threads section, similar to the Discussion Forum.
- A Questionable Content section where Moderators can review reported photos, pages, threads, and albums.
- And last but not least, sections for linking and tagging.
Posting Threads
With the January 2009 thread update, you no longer need to click the "Post a new thread" button. Instead, the new thread prompt is already at the bottom of the page, as demonstrated in the image below:

We hope you enjoyed the updates for January 2009! Expect some major updates to the
Discussion Forum in our next update. Thanks for being a loyal member of
the Wetpaint community.
