 | | Wetpaint Update for January 2008 Hello Wetpainters! If your New Year's resolution is to lose weight, you've come to the wrong place. However, if your 2008 mission is to create a down-right smashin' wiki that'll dazzle the trousers off of your friends and family, you're right on the money! We've kicked off the New Year with a smattering of brilliant new features to make your Wetpaint site even better. Here are some highlights.... | | | | | | | Fresh Wetpaint Features | | | | | We've just made it a whole lot easier to tell your members how they can contribute and help you keep the site better organized! It starts with you adding To-Dos to your wiki pages! To-Dos (a.k.a. tasks) are easy-to-create notes that can be added to any wiki page to let site members know how and where they can pitch in. - Want to get images linked to related pages? Add a To-Do.
- Does a page need a quick proofread? Add a To-Do.
- The best part? You can even be notified by email when your To-Dos have been completed.
Adding and managing To-Dos is easy through the To-Do dashboard page. The To-Do dashboard provides a report of all To-Dos that have been posted across the site and their status -- whether opened, reopened for review, or completed. | | | | | | Back Up Your Site | | | | Wetpaint now offers site administrators and creators a simple and convenient way to back up their Wetpaint wikis. The backup service generates a zip file of the HTML output of all current-version wiki pages. This service can be accessed via the new "Backup" tab in the wiki settings area. Visit Wetpaint Central to find out more about how to use this feature. | | | | | | | | Contributor of the Month | | | Wiki of the Month | | | | Supernatural Fan Wiki | | | | Superstitious much? Follow Sam and Dean Winchester on the Supernatural Wiki as they investigate paranormal events and go head to head with supernatural villains! Discuss their adventures and share your own local lore and stories! | |
