Why Get the Word Out?

There are many ways to find a site. People find sites through search engines, through email, MySpace, other similar sites, word-of-mouth to name a few. If you want people to find your site, it is a good idea to use as many avenues as you can to help them without link-farming (putting your link on sites that aren't related to yours) or spamming (sending email to people you don't know to promote your site.)

I know that I have promoted my site before, but I looked again since I just created a new site and i couldn't find it - ANYWHERE!! I look in the spot, but all I saw was: My Profile | Inbox | Settings | Invite

Please help!!!!!

I use Firefox 3.1 and cannot get past Step 4 in which I have to recordd the displayed digits. I see the letters clearly and type them in but can't get past this step. Am I doing something wrong?
