Links in your text are important, but there’s so much more you can do! The following strategies can encourage discussion and help people navigate around the site:

Link to the “Recent Comments” overview page. The Recent Comments report gives users a big-picture view of all the ongoing discussions, and they can then choose where to jump in and contribute. It looks like this: To link to thespecific “Recentpages Comments”“Thread overviewSummary" page:page.

1. Select/highlight the words you want to link, such as “Add“View aThreads and comment.”Posts.”
2. Click the “Link” button in the EasyEdit Toolbar. The "Add Link" toolbox appears (see below).
3. Highlight and copy the full URL of the page you are on.on
(e.g. http://www.mywikiname.wetpaint.com/page/My+Quilts).
4. Paste it into the field “Link to,” followed by: /thread./thread
(e.g. http://www.mywikiname.wetpaint.com/page/My+Quilts/thread)
5. Save by clicking “Add Link.”
