How to View Recent Changes

What's in Updates?

  • Dashboard - An overview of recent site activity.

  • Pages
    • New Pages - View any recent pages that have been added to your site.
    • Most Active Pages - In order of most active, this will list the pages that have undergone the most changes, such as edits, additions and comments.
    • Recently Updated Pages - This will show which pages have been edited most recently - you should monitor this page every day in your efforts to moderate and edit content.
    • Uncategorized Pages - On occasion, a page is created from the wrong area and is left without a category. In the beginning, the "About Us" page should be the only one that is un-categorized. Keep an eye on this section's activity so you can move any recently added pages that are floating around without a category.
    • Deleted Pages - In order of most recent, this area lists any pages that have been deleted, as well as who deleted it and why. A page can only be deleted by a moderator.
  • Threads - View recently updated threads in the Discussion Forum. You should reply to comments that users post on your site.

  • Questionable Content - This is a feature that will report pages or threads that contain words or phrases that are potentially inappropriate. You can also access photos or albums that have been flagged as inappropriate by other users.

  • Attachments - This report lists all of the attachments that have been uploaded on your site.

  • Linking - Wetpaint has added this feature to tell you what pages need Outbound and Inbound links.

  • Tags - This report will tell you all of the pages that do not have tags on them.

Watching Site RSS Feeds

Another great way to keep tabs on the changes happening on a site is to use the site RSS feeds. Look for the RSS feed icon In the What's New area of the site. There is a different feed for each sub-area (new pages, page edits, new threads, etc).

ReneJennings Questionable Language/Content 2 Nov 26 2008, 4:12 PM EST by ReneJennings
Thread started: Nov 26 2008, 12:19 PM EST  Watch
I received a message saying that I added questionable content/language to one of the pages on my site. It doesn't specify in the report what is questionable, just that they said something was and the page. I cannot find anything questionable on it. What is considered questionable? I can't find anywhere that says what is questionable.

robboyd Viewing changes made to a page 2 May 14 2008, 8:38 AM EDT by grapplinghook

I have trouble seeing the changes a user made.... they are apparently marked in blue when I click on view changes but I always having trouble finding them. I 'think' this is because the changes are marked in blue? This does not jump out when there are so many blue links on a page... is there an easier way to see what changes were made to a page and/or can this be made more obvious?
