Q. Can I get an email address for my Wetpaint domain name?
A. No, this is not an option we have at this time. If a Wetpaint member were to use their Wetpaint email account to send out spam, then the wetpaint.com domain would be black listed, and all of the notifications you receive from Wetpaint would be placed in the spam folder.

Wetpaint does have a messaging feature that can be used to communicate with the community on your site.
One option you may want to look into is getting a custom email address along with a custom domain name. Many domain registrar services offer hosted email along with a custom domain.

you can just get a free domain name at co.cc then go to google apps and verify you own the domain name and then you have free email and site cretion

you know, i have a christian rock band, and it is not that convienent to have Wetpaint e-mails in your provided email address, and then other users messaging you. It would be a lot easier to build an email feature in our wikis then using 2 different things at 1ce. And, once you join a wiki, you should get an e-mail account for that wiki. But when an admin removes your account, the email address should be removed.

it's good to have my own email ad for my wetpaint domain name because it can really be cool! i can also easily access my mail without leaving your site. it looks good too on a business card
