On this page it states: Pretending to be someone else to trick them. Well this is going on a lot with me. Now I've dealt with this dozens of times already. There are people running around pretending to be me all the time. When they are caught they normally knock it off, they didn't think that we would find out(My members of my site) But there is this one girl, I would literally call obsessed. She calls herself with my name, and tries to act like me, going to all other sites and giving me a bad name(Fails at being me). A lot of people have come to me saying they seen this girl and had to bann her because she was rude and what not.
Lately it's gotten worse for the fact she is now making user names trying to resemble mine, or resemble a close friend of mine. Then she made about 5+ sites.. in these sites have content straight off our site. Our site is Twistedfurypackreborn.wetpaint.com . She would simply copy every thing from us, and paste it to hers. The content would literally be word for word, the only difference would be she replaced the name of her site over mine. Tricking others that she is me, the others were not even aware that the site was copied off ours. But yes. I did email the person off your copyright infringement page. But it's not helping obviously, she is only making more and more. It bothers me the most that she is stalking me, pretending to be me etc... Now she is joining our site over and over with a different user. We banned all of them, but she just comes back. I don't even know if we missed some either.... Can something be done? This is getting way out of hand..... |

I used to be a member of pokemonwarzone.wetpaint.com. I am being cyberbullied right now because someone is banning me for no reason. I did no harm, I never swear on the site, and I follow the rules. Someone might be pulling a malicious prank on me, but I don't know who. One of the moderators is my friend and always tries to unban me from the site but it never works. I need to know who's constantly banning me.

Without naming the particular "metaphysical/paranormal/esoteric" site, I will say that some of the folks who post there have been under an awful lot of attacks lately -- myself included. I am glad that Wetpaint has specific guidelines about how to handle this; ugliness such as has appeared on the site already needs to be stopped "right off the bat".

This person is being really mean to me
He called me names and stuff. Sometimes it drives me SO mind that I wanna hit the computer o_o But the problem is that the site creator and moderators does not go on often, they dont read their messages often too. I don't know what to do?

... the site owner/moderator is the cyberbully? In this particular case, the whole site is dedicated to trashing one person.

Wetpaint, should I or you contact this person? And this is my opinion, but I belive this user is Leafdapple, under another account, because of a previous arguement we had last night.

someone hacked magicknight.wetpaint.com! the person's name is jacktherapper , they deleted half the site content, remade the homepage and named the site" it's Jack the rapper!" they also sent a message to everyone insulting all the members saying it was all because the person hated us. he/she needs to be reprehended!

Ok. I LOVE this site, but I said bad things in the beginning because of what I've heard, but then I liked it, but then I accidently impersonated someone else's cat, THEN someone started impersonating me impersonating other people then I was banned, I keep making new accounts but they keep getting banned! I never did anything! I'm scared. This isn't my account but my mom has many. She just gave them to me. I'm not giving out my age. But can you talk to them, I've been watching the chat logs on Meebo and someone keeps coming there and pretending to be me doing bad things! I never created an LQ hate site! I'll show you my LQ LOVE site! Please don't shut it down, just talk to them.

I am constantly being sent messages from a member on another site who has been lying to me. I can't do anything about it either. He cancels his membership right after he send me a message, so banning isn't an option. I don't care to much about his threats I am just annoyed.

Not sure it fits the description, but a guy joined my site and told me I have copied stuff from his.
Well, what he meant by that was that I have 2 pages which are called FanFiction and FanArt. He accused me of stealing the names. I don't really have a clue what's his site (I've joined too many). Anyway, aren't those generic terms describing art & stories made by fans which use characters from certain series, like books, cartoons, movies, etc.? That's what wikipedia says. It also says the term originated in the 60'. So, it's clear that he didn't invent it. If you google this words you will find millions of results. There are sites which have this words in their url. Why does he claim copyright? Also, should I ban him? I don't want to do it, but it gets on my nerves and I'm not sure if it's a got reason? Help, please!

Wow! I am moved by those videos. I am repulsed that anyone would cyberbully in the first place. But now seeing what it is really like, I understand how vulgar these bullies are being. Wow.
