What is HTML editing?

-
Using HTML editing is like rewriting the coding for a webpage to add text, links, images, animations...etc. With Wetpaint's WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) credo, this type of editing is not possible. Users must wait for new features to be released which can allow them some of the benefits they could have created with HTML editing, but not all.
-

Why hasn't this feature been implemented?

-
Because Wetpaint's goal is to make things easy to use for all; not everyone can manipulate HTML codes. Even with this feature being requested on numerous occasions, it still remains a suggestion.

Are there any ways to use HTML?

-
Some people have pointed out a few workarounds to getting HTML on Wetpaint wikis: CryingDove, creator of both Splats wikis, has extensive knowledge of HTML and has created a few tutorials on his wikis to help people who are trying to use HTML.
