This is no longer how Google Analytics works and this guide is now obsolete.
Pasting the script into the box provided on a wet paint site does not work. I am surprised about it, but if you are reading this post by me and you are currently trying to fix the problem then until this problem is resolved then I doubt there is much point in continuing your quest to find out more info. Well, if there is more info no one is talking about it on the net. Search away though and if you find something that lets you know what the chat is then tell everyone about it here. |

I am trying to add Google Analytics to a new site, and I keep getting the told that the activaition code does not work. I go back to Google Analytics, but I dont have a Legacy option tab, like you do above.
Please advise. Lyn. |

Go to you'r site, and login of course. Then click on the far right upper corner which will say " Settings". Then click "statistics". Then click Google anilistics. Then just copy and paste you code there.
