PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Allow html. You could keep it the way it is but allow wetpaint to not totally reject html.. That way those who don't have html knowledge can get along just fine on wetpaint but those who do know html are also just as happy.
I wants so badly to make a click-able image. It would be highly useful on my websites.

We need Private sites back in tact. Removing private features for invites nullifies the private feature. Can't you find some way to work around whatever issues you had with this, besides opening up the site to the public? I don't think you can reasonably market the private feature when you can only add members in public mode.

This has been suggested many times before, but I think it bears repeating. Addition of a function to add anchor tags and/or insert a table of contents in a page would vastly increase the accessibility of Wetpaint. As it currently stands, the only real organizational navigation is in the sidebar and that's limited to between pages. For sites with large amounts of content, navigating within that content can become cumbersome if it is broken up between separate pages; conversely, if content is all placed in a single page, finding it becomes difficult. Addition of anchor tags or a ToC would alleviate that situation a bit allowing users to navigate within a page and therefore clean up some of the sidebar congestion. Furthermore, I think that enabling pages with larger amounts of organized content (and therefore limiting required inter-page navigation) would enhance the visiting experience for users with slow computers/connections.
The FAQs actually state that one of the best practices for putting together a page is "putting everything above the fold." A ToC is one of the purest examples of that philosophy, by giving users a quick rundown of everything of interest within a page. I think this functionality really ought to be one of Wetpaint's primary development goals if it currently isn't (as it stands on the Make a Suggestion poll, it's running pretty far behind the top three).

Hello, I don't know if this is possible but I just had a few suggestion about our forums. It feels more like comments than an actual forum. I would like to suggest that the forums would have some categories and other things like those other forum possess.
If this isn't possible, can someone suggest on ways on how to embed a forum from outside links (such as proboards and other free forum providers) into a wetpaint/wiki page? I would like to thank everyone in advance for any inputs, feedbacks and replies. See you all later!

There should be password protected pages or the ability to give selected users permission to view certain pages.
EDIT: There should be permission restrictions -- only admins viewing selected pages etc.

My concerns probably indicate that I'm not ready for a class wiki, but the benefits supersede the worries. I want more control of what my students post. For example, the filtering system on classblogmeister.com that allows teachers view contributions before they get published would be ideal.
It would also be beneficial to be able to remove the "found valuable" and private messaging options. (I fear cyber bullying could ensue here.) Also, a way for students to upload documents to save to their profiles as a sort of portfolio would be awesome.

You should be able to enter how much text you want in each cell of the calendar in point form format and save all changes, wiithout it removing itself after you make changes and the calendar then bunches all the text together like one long run on sentence. (if I save the text in point form notes and colour code and then save it.. I want it to stay that way. EXACTLY THE WAY I SAVE IT..

This email option is a must for community communication. I guess you have worked it out, could you show me where the script is so I can inject it into my page?

I find that the formatting options are too limiting. Adding more fonts, colors and the option of editing the Page Names and the tool bar at the top of homepage would really enhance the wetpaint wiki.

I'm working on a writing project that uses interviews as resource material and am rather devastated by the 40 upload limit. Need MORE room to work here. Your suggestion that I delete so I can add more is not very feasible. I can have MORE than one wiki site, and each one of those would have the same limit, so I would have set up multiple sites for multiple collaborations with the same person if I had known, but I didn't so it seems EXTREMELY ARBITRARY to put a limit of 40 uploads per wiki. Please help me out here. I have more resources to post. Please advise.

I was thinking of enabling users to edit the HTML of a widget on easyedit.. to correct a typo/error, or just to view the code used in the widget...

google chrome can't display the tools, as well as safari.. it's about time they get support too..
and how about the option for the creator and the page maker to make "Easy Edit" password-protected on a page? I know there is a lock page feature (only for mods and up), you can even deny registered users access to editing pages unless they apply as writer, but I was thinking of protecting a page from being editted by everyone (except the ones who know the password, and the page creator), including mods and up (except for the creator of course) on a free-for-all editting site... the page creator shouldn't get prompted for the password everytime the dude edits.. HTML Embedding there should be a feature under easyedit to insert and execute any html codes, very useful for formatting text, inserting non-flash-based widgets, and more! EDIT: added HTML Embedding

I think that maybe we could have a few more options on site backgrounds. Or we could be able to just choose are own or something, kind of like you do on myspace pages. Just a suggestion :P
