Forum categories allow site creators, administrators, and moderators to organize threads on their sites more easily.

Create a new category
- On the main forum page, click on the "Add a new category" link as shown in the image below.
Move a thread to a different category
Deleting a category- From the thread detail page: Click on "Moderator Tools" and "Change category".
- From one category to another: Use the check boxes next to the threads to select the threads you want to move. Click on the "Move Threads" button at the bottom of the page.
- Start a new thread, write your message, select which category to place the thread in by using the drop down menu, and then click "Post".
- Go to the Discussions page.
- Click on the category you want to delete.
- Click on Moderator tools and then Delete category
