What the heck happened to Open ID logging in? I can't login on my account and have to use an old account. This is seriously a problem - it's for a class.

Hello,
I've been a Wetpaint user for 4 months now. I understand that not everyting will just 'click' for new users but I have noticed some very basic problems that are everywhere I turn. First of all, I am having rediculous amounts of problems with the formatting of the page when I type things. It appears that the site is incapable of saving any of my formatting. Tabs, Spaces, Returns, even the copy and paste formatting gets all messed up. At first I thought that perhaps it was due to the internet browser that I am using, but I have switched to IE 7 and that solved nothing. In addition to these problems I can't highlight text properly, my font selection doesn't always work, and tables that I create get garbled. I must be using the site incorrectly, but I'm not a computer illiterate so I am doubting that this is all intrinsically created. Finally, the page that I have created is worked on by a group, and there has not been a single person who has not had problems with the site. Any suggestions? And please, if you are just out to call me stupid, or to tell me to quit coming here, then I thank you in advance for your marvelous contribution. |

I like the yellow bar that appears at the top of the homepage. Is it a new feature? It will definitely help a lot of users getting started on their wiki! Great addition.

We prefer to keep our website open to view.. At the same time, we want to make sure that problem posters are not given the opportunity to post in threads after being banned. We would like to move our very large, very active, site here but unfortunately wetpaint appears to be lacking in this area. It is a deal breaker. Keeping the peace has a lot to do with what our site is all about. What we insist upon is the ability to screen applicants for approval before they are accepted for membership. People could apply for membership on an online form, indicating the reason they have an interest in joining. Their names and email addys they supply should then appear on a pending list visible to management only. We could get emailed notifications whenever someone applied for membership. When we click on the pending list we see the applicants responses.. We would then follow through in whatever manner works for us (possibly an email communication btw management and applicant) to ensure this is not a bad seed returning . When finished we would then go back to the pending list and click either accept or deny. Once we click accept, that person is instantly a member, and gets an automated email in confirmation.

I think this is a Great idea, to let folks know who proudly stands against your degenerate movement. I didnt contribute in monetary form this time ,however I was very outspoken in support of Prop 8. Please ADD my name to your list, heres my info: Mr Vince Robinette, Kingsport, Tennessee. I am active in spreading the word of God and am personally responsible for at least 3 homosexual conversions back into the "Normal" lifestyle. Thank you.
