February 2009 - Wetpaint CentralWe're proud to announce our February 18, 2009 update, which brought new features to the discussion forum, a place to upload videos to your wiki, a bunch of fresh new content modules, and a new edit feature called "Layout Zones." Please give us your feedback on the new updates on this thread: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/thread/2428742/Please+tell+us+what+you+think!

February 2009 - Wetpaint CentralModerators and up can now lock or feature threads. Featured threads are always at the top of the discussions forum, so that members can easily get updated on important discussions. Locking a thread prevents users from making any more posts. If a fight thread gets out of hand, you won't be forced to delete the record. In addition to these options, anyone can edit their previous posts, if they don't like something they said, or made a typo.

With Layout Zones, you can split the content of a page into two columns. You'll find that this feature is a great way to show off Wetpaint's new content modules and droplets. We've replaced the "Top Contributors" drop down with a Top Contributors module, which is demonstrated to the right. The "Hot Discussions" module gives you a peak at the most active recent threads on your Wiki's discussion forum.

You may have noticed the new "Videos" section. Members of your Wiki can now upload videos in the same way that they add photo's. After adding the clip, you will be prompted for a name and description, which is optional. Videos can be featured in the same way that threads are featured on the discussion forum. Featured videos can be found under the Featured Video Gallery tab.
