Encourage Others To Contribute
Why should I encourage others to contribute? A wiki with only one contributing member is more like a blog than a wiki. Getting others to contribute

Upload limit
"I honestly would like to see the attachments limited by total size, not by total files. For example, give us 20 MB of total storage instead of "20 attachments, none of which can be more than 1 MB." This gives greater flexibility to users who might want to post a 5 MB video, or who want to post many smaller documents.
Thanks!" I agree. I have a wiki set up and am already struggling to figure out how I will handle the 20 file limit. I run 2 gaming groups, and we need to post small excel files - but about 4 for each of the 12 players so far... And that will go up to 10 or 12 per player later. However, those files are fairly small in size (about 200 K) and it would be a hassle to create an esnips account or similar just to host about 2 MB per person.
Here are my 2 cps: increase total storage to 25 or 50 MB and/or give more flexible storage.
OR!
You could give each USER 20 megs of storage total! That way, a popular site would have the flexibility for each user to contribute meaningful content, but keep the total amount of storage that you all have to deal with theoretically the same. Each user's storage space would be count across all wikis. I think this will help encourage real contributors since the wiki admin cannot post a lot of content alone - other users have to use their storage too.

y?!?!?!?
Make more contributions to your site, and encourage others on your site to make more contributions. That's how they are ranked - there's no special trick to moving up in the rankings.

Problems with promoting site and submitting it to the search engines
The code for Wetpaint sites is not user configurable so you would not be able to add the .txt file. Wetpaint site are search engine friendly and our product development team is always working on ways to optimize Wetpaint sites for better search engine pickup. The best thing you can do to get your site picked up by search engines is to focus on adding quality content to your site and encouraging others to contribute to it and link to it. Having external links that point to your site will go a long way towards getting your site noticed by the search engines.
Make sure you promote your site through any bulletin boards you visit or take part in, especially if they have relevance to your site's topic. Also, add the link to the signature on your e-mail, business cards (if you have them), or create banners. Post the link so that people are aware of it. Your site will eventually gain traction and move up in the search results as you do these things.

Easy edit doesn't retain the formatting done on the text!
1. I formatted a particular title centering it to the page. Easy edit easily ignores it and puts the title to the left of the page.
2. I put the author's name to the right of the page but the Easy edit puts it to the left margin of the page. 3. I took a Word Document copy and pasted on my wiki page. It is shown correctly but when saved it lost the whole formatting. It is difficult to contribute any articles if this problem is not solved or a suggestion is given to retain the original format of the document. Kindly post a solution/ reply to nvkrao@mail.com

Wetpaint! Yes, for once, a serious post!
I don't handle that part of the business, but I'm not aware of any overt favoritism from our side. The Wetpaint 500 is a simple statistic, based on contributions - it's completely objective and doesn't play favorites. As to your other claims, you'll have to wait until next week when folks are back in the office to get someone who knows more about our marketing programs to reply.
