| 1 | Keep your site Activity high - you can do many things to keep your site activity up. Make contests, like posting contests, or picture-making contests. Look Here for more fun things to do on your site! |
| 2 | Make sure your site is easy to navigate - If people can't find their way around your site, and are always ending up on Page A when they were looking for Page B, they might get frustrated and leave. |
| 3 | Keep your pages up to date - You don't want users going onto a 'Help' page that tells them to email the Administrator that doesn't go on the site anymore! |
| 4 | Quality is Better than Quantity - Make sure that the pages you've made are all good looking, with relevant content on them. Blank pages aren't going to help you get on the list! Look Here for ideas. |
| 5 | Nobody likes a Chatterbox - Try not to send your users a ridiculous amount of messages. Many people have left wikis (Especially Roleplay sites) because they get about 30 messages a week, and many emails. |
| 6 | Your site can't and won't look after itself - Make sure you have a team of trusty moderators ready in case you suddenly have to leave or go somewhere for a while. Otherwise your site could get messy! |
| 7 | Keep things/people that break rules away - As soon as you get a spammer on your site, make sure them and anything they made is gone. This can scare people away, and ruin your activity. |
| 8 | Make your Site Enjoyable - It doesn't matter how many members your site has, if it's fun and has very loyal members, you can work together and even get your site on the wikis by Wetpaint Top 100! |
| 9 | Try to keep art theft off of your site. Always ask permission before you use someone else's artwork, try to find free to use work (give credit, though), color a base/template, or draw/take a picture of something yourself! |
| 10 | Make your Site Uniqure - Nobody's going to join your site if it's exactly the same as another one. Try and make it unique. You can use Splats2 to find ways to make your Wiki Unique. |

I know two really good tips!
11.Ask any questions you have to moderators. [If a RU, Writer, or anyone who needs help.] Also make sure you show your opinions.[If you have any.] If you simply don't have any, just accept the opinions and questions people ask you! 12. Make sure threads are deleted/locked if they are inactive. A new member might reply to the thread that was about something that happened a long time ago, and then you'll have to face telling them the truth - that that thread is not active and it happened a long time ago. It is best to lock it if it had some replies, so people know what the replies were. |

Try to keep art theft off of your site. Always ask permission before you use someone else's artwork, try to find free to use work (give credit, though), color a base/template, or draw/take a picture of something yourself! It's not nice to steal and it kinda makes you look bad.
I for one, cannot stand to see stolen artowork/photography, especially on Roleplaying sites. I even know a few of the people who get their artwork stolen. I always ask before I use, color a base, draw something myself, or manipulate a photo (if I get permission to use it). Even if the artist says not to use it (like on deviantART), they use it anyway, and don't give any credit. Some even claim to be that artist, and when I ask the REAL artist it is either "That's not my Wetpain Account!", "What is Wetpaint?", or "I don't have a Wetpaint yet...". It makes me mad and sad at the same time to see all of the theft. I know it cannot truly be helped, but I'm pretty sure that if you try to keep your site original with no art theft, you'll get onto the Wetpaint Top 100! =D |

Make sure your site is enjoyable. My site is in the top 25, and we only have about 18 members. And yet, there a few loyal members who just love the roleplays on there and make us get the spot that we do. The site isn't even well-made. It's just the loyal members that love being around each other and talking to each other that make it active c:
