I would like to address this with two answers, because there are two points being made.

1. Creator, Admins, and mods are given the abilility to delete threads and replies. They carry the responsibility to provide only appropriate content to be allowed in threads. A good creator,admin or mod will follow-up with a message to the poster explaining why their post was deleted and give them an opportunity to repost without the trash. If they choose not to repost, that is their decision whether there be valuable information included in the post or not. To alter another's statements by removing certain words or phrases is not ethical and could be abused.

2. Creators, Admins and Mods editing the word or phrase filtering dictionary is not available possibly for some very good reasons. I couldn't even imagine a 13 year old wiki creator, viewing the contents of the filtered words, let alone adding to them. Heck, I am a senior adult, and I dread even going to the filters and adding more content to them, on some chat rooms and forums to which I moderate. YUK.
