Whether you originally wrote a page or not, you're encouraged to add text to a page or edit what's already there. In fact, that's really the whole idea behind Wetpaint sites.
Click the "EasyEdit" button... ...and the toolbar will appear.
Type in your new text, edit what's there, or paste in text from another document. You can use the formatting buttons in the toolbar to change the alignment and format of the text, just as you would with a word processing program.
When you're satisfied, click on the "Save" button in the toolbar.
A new dialog box will then appear where you can leave an optional short note describing the changes you made to the page.
These notes appear when you click on the "complete history" link in the "Last page update" area of the page. You can opt to disable the edit note in your account preferences.
Q&A
Q: I can't see the EasyEdit button anywhere!
This is probably because you are using an unsupported browser, such as Internet Explorer 6. Download a supported browser. Q. How do I get the EasyEdit button back when I return to my site?
It is likely that you have set your permissions scheme to registration-only mode, which means that you first need to sign in to your site to enable the editing functions, like the EasyEdit button and the Manage Page options in the Page Toolbox. Q: What do I do if I see this message?
This message means that while you were editing, someone else made changes to the page. The best option is to manually merge your changes so that both you and the other persons contributions will appear.
