Wetpaint is ending support for Droplets. The third party provider that Wetpaint collaborated with to create Droplets has retired their service. Droplets that have already been added to web pages should continue to function until the end of 2010, but new Droplets cannot be added. The Droplets tab at the top of Wetpaint sites will behas removedbeen shortly.removed.Content Modules, which function similarly to Droplets, will continue to work and be supported for use on Wetpaint sites.
What are Droplets?
Droplets let you monitor or share the social pulse of your Wetpaint site with awesome widgets you can install wherever your travels on the world wild web take you. You can put them on Facebook, MySpace, iGoogle, and a ton of other social networking sites. Droplets are your opportunity to spread the word of your Wetpaint site onto other sites by way of compelling and interactive content. Users who interact with your Droplets can click-through bringing more users to your site.-
