What is a discussion forum?
A forum is basically a place where the community can communicate publicly on the site. When you create a new topic conversation, it is called a 'thread'. A thread can consist of many 'posts' by multiple users. The discussion forum consists of all the threads and posts on the entire site.Overview
At the top of the site you will find a link to ‘Discussions.’ In the discussion forum you will find four tabs. The first will show a list of forum categories for the site. 'All Threads contains all of the most recently updated threads on the site. This includes threads on wiki content pages, threads on user profile pages, as well as new threads that aren’t linked to a page or a profile. Featured Threads will show all featured threads on the site. The last tab lets you track threads via keyword groupings.
