SOMEONE CHANGED MY PASSWORD
As long as you have access to the email address associated to the Wetpaint account you can reset the password. You can reset your password by clicking on the “Sign In” link and then clicking on "Forgot your password?" It will prompt you for the e-mail address you used to register your username and send you a link to change your password. If you have forgotten your user name, you can find it by going to the ‘site moderators’ link found under the ‘Site Reports & RSS’ section of the navigation pane on the left side of the page (on your site).

Reset password code failed
I tried to login with my usual password and got an error message that the password did not match the password for "jimmiller5417@gmail.com" the user ID for www.strawbalebuilders.wetpaint.com". I sent an email to Wetpaint to get a new password, and got back an email with a link to allow me to change the password. I clicked on the link which to me to my home page of strawbalebuilders.wetpaint.com: http://strawbalebuilders.wetpaint.com/. There was nothing presented to me on the display relative to resetting the password as administrator -- just the normal webpage. I check "settings" -- nothing there about resetting the password. I need the password to edit and add pages. I am using the settings which restrict edits to the administrator moderator. Please check out this bug and show me exactly where the reset password windows are.

password "reset" vs "resend"
Could we have consistency in the system messages and what is actually happening? Why does the system offer "sending password" to email rather than "sending password reset" to email? I expect to see my password and instead I have to enter a new one. No biggie but I was expecting what the message said to expect. . Thanks again!

No Email Notifications
You do not need to create a new account. When you receive the invite just click the link and then choose the option that says you already have a Wetpaint account to sign in using your existing username and password.
FYI - I talked to our email marketing manager today and it looks like we are having some problems delivering to Comcast addresses for some reason. We are trying to work with Comcast to get them to not bounce our email, but in the meantime I would recommend changing your email address on your account to something else (gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc.) so that you can receive any Wetpaint invitations, notifications, or newsletters.

Error: "Email Address Already In Use"
They should still be able to sign in with the original username and password they created. Canceling membership to a site does not delete the account. If they really want to create a new account they would have to use a different email address or change the email address on their existing account first.

how do i change the subdomain name of the wiki?
You cannot change your URL once it has been created.
At this time, the Wetpaint interface does not offer a delete site or account feature. If you no longer want your Wetpaint site or account, no action is required on your part. Just leave the site alone and after a period of inactivity the site will automatically be deleted. If you have posted material to your site you do not wish to be publicly viewed, we recommend that you edit the pages to remove the content or, if you are a site creator or moderator, you can delete individual pages.
We have instructions on how to cancel your membership to a specific site on http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Delete+a+Site
If there is an urgent need to have a site deleted Wetpaint can do it manually on a case by case basis. Just provide your site URL and send the request from the email address associated to your account or verify your email address/username and password tied to your Wetpaint account.
If you want to start over with a new site, just go to www.wetpaint.com/wiki and create a new site. You can have as many Wetpaint sites as you want, and all Wetpaint sites are free.

Changing a Username
According to Jeremy_wetpaint:
At this time, usernames cannot be changed. If you want to use a different username on Wetpaint you will need to create a new account. If you want to use the same email address as on your old account, you’ll need to change the email address on the old account first.
To change your email address or password on file with Wetpaint, sign in to your site and click on your user name that appears at the top right of the page. This will take you to your account page where you will see an option to change your password or update your account information (including change email).
