What is a CAPTCHA?
A CAPTCHA is a test that is used to help ensure that the user interacting with the web site is a human and not a computer. OneOn Wetpaint, a CAPTCHA dialog window looks something like the image to the right.
Why use CAPTCHA?
The CAPTCHA dialog is shown to diminish spam contributions.
There are two ways to prevent it from appearing.

- Become a friend of a Moderator, Administrator, or the Creator of the site.
- Ask a Moderator to promote you to a Writer (only applies to sites using the "invitation required to edit" site permission setting). See the Permissions page for more details.
