Two unfortunate facts face those who build websites: (a) each browser has its own characteristics, and (b) website visitors will use whatever browser they want.

The last two considerations particularly impact how well Wetpaint works in a browser, so if you're having a problem and NOT using a recommended browser, a logical first response might be to switch browsers.

- Basic features offered (example Opera offers a sophisticated built-in email program);
- HTML rendering - how the page formatting language basic to all webpages is converted into a visible page;
- Javascript features and performance.

- Windows platform computers - MS IE7 (not 6) or Firefox.
- MacIntosh computers - Firefox.
