I'd just like to point out the reason this user posted a thread on the actual page they needed 'help' on, and why I deleted your post Bells.


The user is, without a doubt, a young kid who is too lazy to read the page on how to add a page. Most, if not all, younger users are too lazy to read the page, so they post on the page asking for a shorter, easier to understand reply, and us Moderators will not give it to them. We will make them read the page.

This is why I deleted your reply Bells. Because they need to not be lazy, and they need to read the page. Not be spoon-fed the answer in a thread.

When creating a new page, your default page location will adjust to whatever page you are currently on.
Example - If you are on the 'About Us' page, the location of your new page will be "About Us > new page" which would effectively create a sub-page for 'About us'.

To create a main page, simply create a new page from your wikis Home address.
Additionally, you can convert any of your already created sub-pages simply by moving them to the 'Home > Page Name' location.

"I am using my site to post original Fanfiction. I create the new page then go to Easy Edit to put in my story. I copy and paste the story to the page and it looks really good. Then I hit save and when the page comes back everything is run in together. I have to go BACK into Easy Edit and read thru, putting the spacing back in. Its a pain as some of the stories are rather long. What causes this to happen? Is there a way to add the contents to the page and have it stay the way its posted the first time?

If you mean spaces between paraghraphs like this:
Insert long paragraph here

Insert other paragraph here

If you mean like that above, you need to add some ---'s where the space is, or something to take the place of the space. (Make sure to change the font color to blend in with your background.)

If your talking about the same CLG Wiki I'm thinking of, than you need to be made a writer by one of the moderators or administrators. After you are made a writer on the left under the links to under pages you will see "Add a New Page"

When you create a page, the wetpaint system automatically makes it so that you can add comments to a page. To add comments to a page, go to the bottom of the page, hit add a thread, and then type what you want to make a thread on. Then, hit "post", and your thread will be displayed on the bottom of the page.

When you click on "Add a new page" while you are on the home page, the new page which you add gets listed under the Home Page. But if you are on some other page while creating the new one, it gets listed under that particular page.
