Ah! Now I have it. I just went to a test page and created a new link on it. After saving my change I then clicked on the link and it opened in the same tab.

OK, not a major problem, then. As long as it works for casual browsers (I mean people browsers, not IE etc.) that's the main thing.

If you are trying to link it to the home page, then no, it is not possible.. If, however, you are trying to link it to your profile page, then either post the banner or your website name on your profile page, and then follow the following steps.

Name- Highlight the name of the website, and then click Link in the easy edit toolbar. A text box with a typing bar should appear. Type your URL into the box and press okay.

Banner- Left click on the banner after posting it as an image on your profile page. And option should come up to link the picture. Click that, and then the text box described above should appear. Follow the steps shown above.

NOTE: Do NOT click find page in the Link text box. That will try to find a page on this website. Only type your URL and press okay.

It only seems to invalidate URLs that link outside of Wetpaint. For example the first one works and the second doesn't:

When on easyedit you click the link tab. Then where it asks what you want it to say you type exercise then for what its supposed to be linked to put the acctual link. Hope it helps.
