Yes you can make an image a link. All you do is just simply add an image to a page and click the image and then click on add link. Then you just paste or type in a link and press ok.

all my friends put up links on our website so if it links to a game it says the games name instead of http//:www....and so on.how do i make it so it only says the link's name?

Adding footnotes would be easy to do using tables as Jeremy says. It would be a waste creating a button to automatically do it.

"When you have highlighted the text you want, click link in the easyedit toolbar. Now type in the address you want eg. wetpaintcentral.com or lathermiah.co.nr
" Don't forget, if you are linking to an external wiki or website.. You need to always put http:// in front of the URL. Example: http://www.wetpaintcentral.comNot: www.wetpaintcentral.com

When I add a URL and look at my link the URL it replced with #wiki_temp_url#.
Any ideas?

We are also experiencing this problem on our "MLA wiki class" wiki (http://mlawikiclass.wetpaint.com/page/MLA+Web+2.0+101+Wikis). See link to Tenwek Community School of Nursing wiki as example. I added the proper url to this wiki but when the page refreshed it went back to the temp url thing. Another wiki user alerted me to the problem so it's happened multiple times to our wiki.
Is it a bug? I'm using Windows XP & FFox but the other user was on Windows Vista & IE 7.

Hello,
Excuse me if this topic has been discussed before.
I just wanted to find out how I can add target="_blank" keyword to a hyperlink so I my readers don't have to right-click and select "open in a new window".

If you click the link immediately after saving your changes, it won't be going to a new page. That's because we're showing you the version of the page as you entered it. When you save a page, our database makes small changes, including adding on the target="_blank" for external links, but you can't see those changes immediately. Those changes will show when you refresh the page.
