Site Moderating Guide

  • Dealing with Abusive Users
Wetpaint includes features to help deal with abusive users. All registered users have the ability to block messages from a specific user. Moderators and up can ban a username account from a site, or delete inappropriate posts from the discussion forum. If you are being harassed by another user, tell a moderator.

  • Hacked Accounts
If you believe your username account has been compromised or "hacked", change your password right away. If your password has been changed, use the "forgot your password" feature to email yourself a link to reset the password. The best way to avoid this type of situation is to use a secure password and never tell anyone your password.
