This sometimes happens when you copy and paste a ton of images. (Or at least that is when it happens to me) What you will have to do is revert to a previous page version.

I think there should be 1 admin anyway and depending on how big and troublesome your site is, it should have appropriate number of mods as they all can't be on at once. Perhaps one of these mods could be head mod in the absence of the creator and the administrator...mods should be picked carefully and not have a controlling nature. After all, most are fansites that are meant for enjoyment, not multi-million dollar sites where things might need to be kept strictly kosher.
