Facebook Newsfeeds

Users who have linked their Facebook and Wetpaint accounts can now choose to "publish a story" about their action to Facebook. This is a great way to advertise your site and let your friends know what you are doing on Wetpaint!

For a refresher on how Facebook Connect works, please see the release notes from our 4/21/09 release.

Here is how Facebook Newsfeeds work with Wetpaint:

1. Log in to both your Facebook and Wetpaint accounts
2. Add a photo, video, page, or discussion post to your Wetpaint site, or join a new Wetpaint site.
3.
You can then choose to "Publish" your action to your Facebook wall and your friends' news feeds.

5/06/2009 - release - Wetpaint Central

NOTE: If you choose to "Write Something" that message will be appended to the news feed but will also become your Facebook status. The functionality of this part of the feature is controlled by Facebook, not Wetpaint. If you leave that box blank, the details of your action will still be published on Facebook.
