When I Make A Table, I Try Centering The Text I Put In It, But It Won't Let Me. When I Did It Before These Upgrades It Allowed Me To Do It. What Gives?

I keep losing formatting...Text keeps triple spacing or even more, pictures float even, writers have told me they can not post from Word and keep formatting, etc. Is anyone else having similar problems? Any solutions? Anyone know when we might get this cleared up?

i have had a problem when trying to edit my site, when i add a picture the screen starts moving up and down rapidly because it is trying to upload the picture or something and sometimes the screen just freezes, i know this isnt just because of my computer but i have went on several other computers and the same problem occured...

The new releases have helped, thanks! We are still, however, in dire need of:
1. an adjustable column width feature (e.g. first column 200 px, second column 800 px). 2. superscript and subscript easy buttons. 3. an anchor link feature for long articles. Thanks, Libb

Since this new release I cannot do add top level pages! This morning I started a new Wiki, and can only edit the homepage, but I cannot start working on it because I cannot add pages. I am using IE 7, Mozilla 3.04 and Chrome,The browsers do not seem to work differently on this issue. I get the "Add Page" dialogue, but WetPaint does not create the page. After submitting the command, I recieve a new page, with the name "new page", which sometimes even includes a widget from the previous page, but nothing else. Then there is no way to edit it. I have tried this on all three browsers, and after clearing cookies e.t.c. and also tried it on older wikis of mine but with no success! However I CAN add SUBPAGES on older wikis, but not toplevel pages, nether on my new Wiki, nor on the older ones. Also, the page templates dropdown window is empty when I try to create a toplevel page. I hope you can clear this up soon :-).

You know what would be a good idea? A "User toolbar". Generally, creators of the wikis have no problem understanding the possibilities of the wiki site and will get on and try out features etc.
I've had my wiki going for nearly 2 years now and have noticed there are differences in the confidence level of members. Some of them are more than happy to get stuck in but the majority aren't really used to what a wiki is about and have a reluctance to try creating material for fear of "breaking it". If new users/members had access to a "User Toolbar" I think they would be more willing to get in and add stuff. Our members for instance are of a varied age spread and not all are as comfortable with "computing" as perhaps younger members may be. Regards Joe |
