Our Version 11 release on Sept 21st included the following new features and enhancements:

  • Google Video integration: we now support Google videos in addition to YouTube. To add a video simply paste the URL into the video tools in our EasyEditor. It is easier than counting to 10...well maybe not but it is definitely idiot-proof!
  • Improved layout: we made some subtle refinements to the layout of the Wetpaint sites to reduce clutter and bring your content higher on the page. Changes include:
    • We removed the tabs at the top of the page. You will now find Page History and Comments at the bottom of the main content area.
    • The Keyword Tags and Latest Update information was moved to the bottom of the content area as well. This shift helps pull your content higher up on the page.
    • The Google ads have been moved to the left side of the page to create more room for content—and for the arrival of additional new features that we’ll be debuting soon. (Stay tuned as more is coming your way!)
  • New activity module: to keep you informed of recent activity on your sites we created a new module to surface recent page updates, comments, and contributors on the home page.
  • Revamped Wetpaint home page: We’ve added an activity module to the homepage so you can check out the latest site updates and comments happening on sites across the Wetpaint network.
  • Wetpaint sign-in: You can now sign in to view a list of all the Wetpaint sites you’ve created or joined in a single location.
