Changes

Key:  Additions   Deletions
Tonight's release included a number of options to keep you site'ssites more safe from vandalism. Users on your sites can now report pages, photos, and videos that are inappropriate.

Reported photos and videos: both photos and videos are temporarily removed from display when reported. Not to worry, site moderators will receive a message to review the content and can either restore it or delete it if appropriate.

Wiki pages: wiki content pages can also be reported, but aren't removed from the site's navigation. Reporting a page also sends a P2P to the moderators.

Bad word replacement: offensive words and hate speech are now replaced with asterisks on submission. We hope this helps keep your sites clean from vandalism.

It's not all about reporting features though. There's more.

Image search: Now you can search Bing images in addition to Yahoo.

Farewell Internet Explorer 6.0: following in the footsteps of many sites (YouTube, Digg) we have abandoned support for IE 6.0. Usage has been steadily shrinking of late and it's just too costly to support considering it doesn't behave like other, more standards-based, browsers.

Please be sure to give us feedback on this release.
