Today's release included the following new features and enhancements:

  • YouTube integration: you can now add YouTube videos into any page simply by cutting and pasting the YouTube embed source into our Easy Editor.
  • Comment reply notification: Now you can opt-in to be notified via email if someone replies to your comment. You can also be notified if someone posts a comment on your profile page.
  • Wetpaint search: from the Wetpaint home page you can now search across all Wetpaint sites. Top matching sites are featured in the side-bar on the right side.
  • Revamped header & footer: the site header and footer were redesigned. We removed some clutter and added a bit more visual polish.
  • Faster editing: the speed of editing and saving pages has improved greatly. Tables in particular should load more quickly.
  • Help updates: we made several updates to the help section including an oversight from the last release - help on our templates feature.
