With so many Wetpaint site users having multiple sites we’ve made it easier to reach your favorite sites, join new ones, and manage your profiles and memberships.
What does all that look like? Read on below…!
Wetpaint Network Header: the header at the top of each site has been redesigned to allow easier access to multiple sites. Once signed in you can access your sites from the ‘My Wetpaint’ drop down on the right. You will also remain signed in now as you move from site to site.
Don’t worry; you won’t become a member of every site you visit automatically. Joining a site is now a separate step – that’s for you to decide. Check out the screen shots below.

After signing in the header recognizes you, gives you access to your wikis, but leaves joining sites as a separate step. This user has not yet joined this site.
Profile toolbox: Your wiki profile is page is still accessible from every page on the site from the profile toolbox. Your profile toolbox will be usedto keep you up to date on notifications when you sign-in.

Profiles: Lastly, we also redesigned the profile pages to clean things up and add some new features. Enhancements include:
- The ability to cancel your membership with a site.Cancellingsite. Canceling your membership will shut down all email subscriptions and close nearly all elements of your profile page. Not to worry, you can always join again later if you change your mind.
- Fewer ads! We removed two advertising placements to reduce some clutter and improve the experience. It’s your profile after all.
- Improved controls to manage email subscriptions and notifications.
- A new tab layout to access key features like messages and contributions.
Other enhancements in this release include:
- New member email notification: now moderators and up will receive a daily email listing new members of their sites. Be sure to click through and send new members a welcome message and let them know how they can help out.
- Searching comments & replies: Can’t find that important conversation? Use the keyword search feature! Search results now include comments & replies in addition to pages. You can easily search only on pages if you prefer.
- Faster page loads: We realized our pages can occasionally load a bit slowly. We made some further adjustments in this release to speed things up a bit.
