03/12/08 - release
We asked and you certainly answered.
Since our latest feature release we’ve gotten a lot of great feedback. That’s not too surprising – it was a big release with lots of changes. We did a number of things to
make Wetpaint more social. In the past we release we:
Most of the response has been overwhelmingly positive, however, a few tears were shed for one lost feature in particular. Our “out with the old, in with the new” spirit moved the Recent Activity module to the brand new ‘what’s new’ dashboard. While you get approximately 1,726 times the information on the ‘What’s New’ page, a lot of the Wetpaint faithful liked the “at a glance” nature of the module feature.
So what's a company to do? Duh…listen and do something about it! What’s Wetpaint without the fanfare of our users? We’re bringing back the Recent Site Activity feature to the homepage, though in a slightly different spot. Look for it now in the left hand navigation. The feature will take the place of ‘To-Do's’ which has been moved to the top navigation in the header. You can see a quick sample from Wikifido in the image on the right.
So Wetpainters, keep giving us suggestions – we’re certainly listening.

- added a ‘What’s New’ dashboard
- we changed the page layout to give more space to your content
- we removed an ad
- we added a new navigation bar across the top
- and, finally, we added some cool tools to help you get more traffic to your sites

I have been on Wetpaint for about 30 minutes now and it is very slow. Maybe its just my side but all other sites are loading in an instant.

We had to temporarily remove this feature again in order to fix a bug. We hope to have it back up very soon. Thanks for your patience!
