With over a million Wetpaint sites (and many of them dead), it is hard to sort through them to find related sites, particularly using this tool:

which only has nine categories. Having posted many times on this issue and given it some thought, it would seem that a simple way to solve this issue would be for someone at Wetpaint (such as yourself?) to start as Wetpaint Index (wiki), then send out a bulk email to all site creators asking them to start a page on their site at WetpaintIndex.com (or whatever?), and to sub-file it in the appropriate category. This would very quickly, possibly in a matter of days, seem to solve the issue of how to organize all of the Wetpaint sites, being particular helpful in sorting out the dead sites (one page test sites) from the active ones. What do you think?

"Couldn't agree more. Not being able to split, merge & move individual post as a Moderator or creator is very limiting. Also a 2000 limit on posts is also reducing the effective use of posts to a chat rather than a conversation. I have never seen this restriction before on forums or Yahoo Groups which is what a lot of members are familiar with. It is a BIG turnoff for recruiting ACTIVE input to those who are not writers.

Hope you are looking at making it, as you say in your News letter "awesome enhancements to the discussion forum." by our definition too. I await with baited breath.
