If you want a sucsessfull site you need to make it have a fun atmosphere. Help some people out advertise but the most important thing to know is what you give back to them. Because on my sites I always give the people that join my site my undivided attention. And don't just give them compliments just because they are your freind but because they earned it. You need to make people enjoy your site by putting something that they would want on your site. Give them a page that they can edit. Everyone would like to be a part of your site. Ask them questions though messages and ask ideas
To have a sucsessful site the layout and logos are very important. If you're stuck on you logos go to http://cooltext.com/ And if someone complains about you're site don't ban them listen. Also Put a feedback page on your own individual sites because it's better to hear from others about it Turtulehead

I think that making freinds on wetpaint is a thing that is very important. BUT IT IS PRETTY HARD TO DO.
Ways of getting freinds 1. Complimenting them but not because you want them to be your freind but for something they've done 2. Pot luck if they pick you or not 3. Sending them a message to them saying why you want to be their freind, what they would get back from it and how you could help them Feedback Moving on to the topic of feedback I think it's good to have a feedback page on your own sites because you can see where things are going wrong and how you can correct them

For your own site I would advise you to put a feedback page on because you can find out where you can improve and whats already good and when you know that you can keep going better and better until you have the perfect site it's also good to have a help page on your site like this site. People might not be able to acsess your site because the link may be broken so you need to advise them( mabye through other sites) what to do

If your having any out of the ordinary problems on Wetpaint like signing in errors or editing errors then follow these steps:

Por algún error, subí fotos a mi álbum sin previa identificación en la web, por lo cual aparecen como subidas por anónimo, de esa manera estoy perdiendo mi autoría.
Por favor orientenmé cómo eliminar las fotos del álbum para volver a subirlas pero con mi autoría. Gracias por el tiempo dedicado a ayudarme.

After Wetpaint Central deleted their Share Your Site page, I lost all my ways of advertising my sites. I have ads on Wetpaint Ads but those dont seem to be helping. Could anybody that has a successful site please give me tips on how to promote my site and make it very popular? I want to get the word out about my site. Ok, so you got a page that has become “too much of a problem.” It might be technical, it might be controversial, whatever, you’ve decided you wish it had never existed. Period. So mash and trash it.
1. Go to the page in question (if locked, un-lock it for the time being); 2. Click the "Easy Edit”; 3. Hit Control and then A (select all) 4. Hit the backspace button (to delete all the text) 5. Save this; 6. Edit the page again by adding one word; 7. Save this; 8. Delete all previous version of the page (in the page history); 9. Rename the page; 1Ø. Again, edit the page to add one (pointless) word; 11. Delete the page itself; 12. Change or remove all tags; 13. Lock (or re-lock) the page. Now no version of the page will ever again exist on your site. It would take a moderator or above to even TRY to re-construct it, and one should be able to presume safely that if the Creator mash and trashed the page, it’s gone. You may have noticed a difficulty at times when you add blank lines between your text or images that they disappear.
In Easyedit your format looks great, but when you save the page, the blank lines are gone. This has to do with the way some browsers interpret HTML. Each browser can provide different results. Netscape, addressed this problem with a technique called "Spacer Gifs". They can be also known as "Shiv's or Shims". Nonetheless, they are place holders for blank lines. Using this method, should provide your page with a constant presentation without worrying about browsers. Here is what to do Add a new line. Then put a character in the line. This will be your spacer. Do this for all blank lines needed. Go back to the first line and click and hold the mouse button and drag down the blank lines with the single character spacer in it until they are all highlighted. Then go to the color selector on the toolbar and make those spacers the same color as the background of the page. This will make the characters transparent to the page. You can change the font size of the character spacers to adjust the spacing between elements on the page. There is a problem with inserting 1,2 or 3 blank lines and having the spacing remain. I have found that there is a minimum amount of blank lines that will hold the spacing. Five blank lines will do the trick. Anything less will require a spacer character.
