You really really REALLY need to make a feature so people can make their own custom backgrounds. There really aren't that many styles and if you could upload a pic to use as a bsckground sites would become so much more personalised and fun! :) PLEASE HEAR ME!

I’d like the ability to select my order my wetapint sites, based on which ones I think are important; For example, there’s one that I only remain a member of so I can talk to the staff there to work with them- But I’d rather not really see it every time I log in. I’d then mark it 6 (bottom of list) so I can largely forget about it.
Another thing- At least for my sites I’d like the ability to go straight to the Updates pages, but for the other sites I’m a member of to go straight to my inboxes; Why not make a specific page within the site my preference? It would probably work by modifying the page, so I could type in say http://survival101.wetpaint.com/whatsnew for my sites, but http://naturaldisasterpreparednesswiki.wetpaint.com/account/Andering_J_REDDSON/mailbox/in for other sites (those are just examples).

I know I've been harping on about the forum for a while now, but that's because I think it has awesome untapped potential to allow Wetpaint to grow further...hell, that's in all our good interest.
Firstly, congratulations Wetpaint on the last discussion forum release. The fact that categories can be managed and sorted is a big step forward as it has made it infinitely more useable by simply being able to organise posts. Here are a couple of simple suggestions to further enhance the discussion forum which I think will totally transform it into a superb tool. 1:- A set of smileys/emoticons. Non-visual communication is a factor of online community membership. Human communication however involves far more than what is just being said. Smileys/emoticons are a simple way to enable peple to interact better by displaying the mood of the post, thus preventing mis-interpretation. Online communication is worldwide and regional cultural differences can result in people interpreting a message in ways that may not have been intended by the writer. An emoticon can help the reader to tune in to the mood of the writer. 2:- Images/Links It would be a great improvement to be able to post images on a discussion board post. Even if it is just images from the wiki's photo gallery. Doing this would allow members to really brag about their passion and would facilitate more detailed discussion. Similarly with links. Allowing external url links into the body text of a discussion post will enhance the discussion forum experience and at the same time willpropagate Wetpaint further. Just these two simple additions will imo transform an ok wiki feature into a fully interactive useable tool. Keep up the good work guys. Regards Joe

I think that forums should be available to be added to a Wetpaint Wiki at any time. I know Wetpaint has the Discussion Forum but it is nothing like a forum. When I say forum I mean something like a forum made with vBulletin such as DuelCity!! DuelCity is made with vBulletin and I think Wetpaint should have this as a Wiki Add-On where you can choose to have it on or not. I think this would be an awesome part of a Wetpaint Wiki.

Hi. I was hoping Wetpaint could consider changing their sites to allow pages to have the same name, but only when in a different category of the navigation. For example, Home is the main category. For Wetpaint Central, the Help page would look like http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Help. However, "About Wetpaint Sites" would look like this... http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Help/About+Wetpaint+Sites. And then the page "What is a Wetpaint Site" would look like this...
http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Help/About+Wetpaint+Sites/What+is+a+Wetpaint+Site I believe this would benefit many content writers in various ways. I'm sure there are other more important features being worked on like customizing styles and what not, but please feel free to post your opinion and add any thoughts on this subject... maybe even expand the idea to something better. Some time ago, I suggested a translator for various languages that could be added to a wetpaint site. I haven't seen anything about it since Wetpaint ventured that it would be provided "soon".
Now, I have another suggestion, unless someone is actually doing it already --in which case I'd like to know how it's done-- about adding a musical background to the sites so when people log in, there's music playing (the viewer can turn it off at their own sound controls in case the music is annoying to them). You should have profile history, like page history. My profile is sometimes wipped by a weird edit glitch. Profile hisotry would help so much.

With the site in the stages of going to a fixed width, many pages will need to be shrunk. Therefore images will need to be displayed smaller. A good counter-balance to this would be to have code whereby when a photo is clicked, it displays in its original size in the middle of the screen.

My site consists of my friends from school and we are teens so we cuss alot and we wanna have a place to kick back and do whatever we want. The cussing censor ruins that completely. We tried this for freedom and because of it we arent truly getting it.
