Inviting new members
Dec 4 2008, 7:21 PM EST
I am a 5th grade teacher and have recently created a wetpaint site. I entered my students' email addresses. The students reported that they received my invite, but were unable to sign. Any suggests as to what we are doing wrong?

Unless your 5th graders are 13 and older, they cannot join Wetpaint. Anyone who joins Wetpaint can make a wiki. With laws protecting young citizens of our country (mine at any rate (USA)) nobody can join Wetpaint under the age of 13. I don't agree with the laws as well as a multitude of others, but the laws don't affect me. Only you (I'm assuming as a teacher you are older than 13 =) ) can join Wetpaint from your class because of these laws.Sorry, try wikidot.com it might work! I wouldn't know though. Hope this helps! -Rubikubism P.S. What was the Wiki you tried to have them join for? (This is for my own interest.) |

I suggest that they clear their browsers cookies, then they will be able to create an account. After all, they were only kidding when they said they were under 13, right ;) -Moderator Baby Apple |
