I'm a private practice psychotherapist in Bellingham, WA, USA. My professional interests focus on treatment of anxiety, depression, psychological trauma, attachment-related problems, and couples counseling. I'm particularly interested in using the Internet to facilitate relations with my peers (and at time, my clients) in distant locations. (See professional website: www.tomcloyd.com/)
Wetpaint's value to these interests has, in the rather brief period of my experience with it, been validated - I'm getting response from my peers, and participation as well. This appears to me to be an exceptionally well planned and implemented tool. It's a pleasure to use and I'm grateful to have it.
Just wondering, how long have you been in the business, (next question is purley out of curiosity) & how do you treat depression? It seems such a serious thing...

Actually, I live in an even smaller town, outside of Bellingham, which is my professional address. As for being a Rabbi, it's interesting you should ask. About 15 years ago I played one, as an extra who got perhaps 2 seconds on-air exposure, in a Hallmark Hall of Fame production which got an Emmy for best TV drama of that year. Had to have been my presence, don't you think? :) Or maybe it was Amanda Plummer's performance...

Tom - Any help with the pop up window coming up when I try to edit? It says Internet Explorer and Clipboard, etc. It's very annoying. Can't figure out how to turn it off. Tks.

What you're seeing is a security warning setting in IE. Here's the fix: 1. At the top of the internet Explorer window click Tools, then Internet Options. 2. Click the Security tab. 3. Under Select a Web content zone to specify its security settings, click Internet. 4. Click Custom Level. 5. In the Scripting section, under Allow paste operations via script, click Enable. 6. Click OK.
