Wetpaint Central Disappointment
Feb 21 2009, 2:32 PM EST
Just yesterday I was making adjustments to my home page, and upon clicking remove imeem playlist my entire home page was deleted, and now I can't seem to add or place text as it will not save. I was so very happy with this site initially and never had a problem before. Changes made lately to appearance to site took a bit of getting used to and I do love the addition to videos, hate fact contributors section was removed, and now can only be added to a separate page and am still waiting for response from staff on my problem. If someone can answer or help out with matter at hand I will truly appreciate it.

If your homepage got deleted, you didn't save it did you? Whether you did or not, you can make a past version your current version. And if you didn't save, did you try reloading the page? Sometimes you have to do that for it to work or respond. I hope this helps. =)

Of course I saved it, that's a given when making any changes. Problem is I only clicked to remove playlist and all my content was removed from page. I then tried to add new material, pics and so forth, pressed save, and page is still blank. I am not an amateur when it comes to web hosting, and other added pages saved successfully. Home page is only issue. Reloading, logging out and coming back in again all attempts failed. I cannot fix my home page. Thanks for the advise anyway.

"Will try and get back to you if success or fail. Thank you both for accepting friend request and for suggestions. Liked your site as well..."Well I tried, and get this old version is no where in deleted section, or recently updated. There is nothing to compare to and do know what you meant as I have deleted and then later went back and was able to restore pages just recently, as well as this morning. Pretty confusing, but hey what else can we do but wait till staff comes back on Monday. Hopefully then I can get somewhere, just a bit antsy because I couldn't fix it myself. Perfectionist in me can be a bit much at times. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. |

No longer disappointed with Wetpaint. Got info needed to revert at least old version, and am sure they will fix other issue with editing issue on said page. Thanks Leopardfur for suggestions and have a wonderful week ahead.
