Administrators help manage the site, and have access to site settings. They can also use all editing tools, manage pages, promote or ban members and invite others on private sites.
Hi, my name is Jeremy and I'm the local "Zen master of Product Support" at Wetpaint (according to Patty).
If you have questions about how to use Wetpaint look in the FAQ section or use the "Search this wiki" box in the upper left. If you can't find the answer, post your question in the "Threads" section of the Ask and Answer page, or any other page that's relevant to your topic.
Posting in the forum is the fastest way to get help because it will be seen by many moderators and Wetpaint savvy users. I am but one man.
Interested in being a moderator on Wetpaint Central?
I get asked by users all the time about how to become a moderator here on Wetpaint Central (aka WPC). Here is a list of things we look for in a potential community volunteer moderator:
We typically will only consider a user that has been active on WPC for at least a few months.
We look for users that are familiar with Wetpaint features and regularly provide accurate answers to newbie questions in the forum. If you don't know the answer, you know where to look for it or who to ask.
We look for users that don't provoke or flame other users. You should be calm, cool, and collected rather than snippy, snarky, and sarcastic.
You like helping people and enjoy being a part of the Wetpaint community.
You don't have Wetpaint baggage - meaning, there aren't 20 sites full of users that hate your guts because you used to be a member there, but you burned your bridges. Guess what? When those users come here for help they still won't like you.
To be a moderator you need to be respected, and that means that you have to be respectful of others. You get what you give.
If you feel like you meet all the guidelines listed above, send me a private message and let me know about your interest in becoming a community volunteer moderator on Wetpaint Central.
And remember - you don't have to be a moderator to help out other users here. Just be supportive and answer questions that the newbies ask if you can. Thanks!

Hello I do like the site but I find it unfair that we can not delete our sites or accounts on here. That option should be part of this site because this site seems to be really wonderful.

You can have your site deleted. I know i'm not Jeremy, but I can help.
To delete your site, there are two ways:
1. Email Wetpaint at: info@wetpaint.com and tell them you want your site deleted. ( Since it is the weekend, they wont respond 'till Monday. )
or 2. Send a PM to everyone on your site, saying the sitebis shutting down. Ban all of the members and go to ' Settings ' then click ' Permissions ' and make your site private. Then, cancel your membership.
As for accounts being deleted: We can not do that, but, you can cancel your account, it's almostbjust like deleting your account.

I don't know if it's only my sibling's and my accounts, but nothing in our watchlists are showing up. I haven't heard from anyone else on either of the sites we're active on if they're having this problem (www.warriorsofstarclan.wetpaint.com; www.warriorsfansite.wetpaint.com) nor do I know if it's our computer; all I know is that nothing is showing up in the watchlists. It'll say, "Watched threads: 28" or whatever, but no threads show up. Is it possible for this to be fixed?
Our accounts on these sites are Foeseeker and Redpatches. My sibling's and mine, I mean. That is, if it's not the entire wetpaint system or those two sites.

My friend send me a email to invite me to join his web. I sign in with my Live ID.
But the web still show that is a private web.
Could some one tell me how to solve it?"
I may not be Jeremy, but I can help.
Invites for Private Sites have been dropped. To join, your friend must make the site Public, let you join, then make it Private again. To do so: Go to Settings and click on Permissions, and make it Public, wait until that person joins, then make it Private again.
