Administrators help manage the site, and have access to site settings. They can also use all editing tools, manage pages, promote or ban members and invite others on private sites.
First off - please don't send me a message. Wetpaint keeps me super busy juggling lots of things and that means I probably won't have time to respond to you here.
If you have questions about how to use Wetpaint look in the FAQ section or use the "Search this wiki" box in the upper left. If you can't find the answer, post your question in the "Threads" section of the Ask and Answer page, or any other page that's relevant to your topic.
Posting in the forum is the fastest way to get help because it will be seen by both the site moderators and a plethora of other users that know their way around a Wikis on Wetpaint site. You can also directly contact one or more of the moderators here.
Interested in being a moderator on Wetpaint Central?
I get asked by users all the time about how to become a moderator here on Wetpaint Central (aka WPC). Here is a list of things we look for in a potential community volunteer moderator:
We typically will only consider a user that has been active on WPC for at least a few months.
We look for users that are familiar with Wetpaint features and regularly provide accurate answers to newbie questions in the forum. If you don't know the answer, you know where to look for it or who to ask.
We look for users that don't provoke or flame other users. You should be calm, cool, and collected rather than snippy, snarky, and sarcastic.
You like helping people and enjoy being a part of the Wetpaint community.
You don't have baggage - meaning, there aren't 20 sites full of users that hate your guts because you used to be a member there, but you burned your bridges. When those users come here for help they still won't like you.
To be a moderator you need to be respected, and that means that you have to be respectful of others. You get what you give.
And remember - you don't have to be a moderator to help out other users here. Just be supportive and answer questions that the newbies ask if you can. Thanks!

It sounds like you might be signing in with an account that doesn't have full admin or site creator permissions. Do you have more than one account? If so, try signing in with it and see if that makes a difference.

I was referred to you for help on re-opening my wiki site. I've signed in and out of it several times but don't know how to get it running again. I had to close it years ago due to personal reasons . I guess it's what they call a ghost wiki site now.

Could you please IP Ban a user on thedragoncavehatchery.wetpaint.com called "Profiletesting"? They attacked my site and I've already banned them, but I'm afraid they will try it again under another name. They also sound like they personally know me, so it's really kind of scary.
