Hi, my name is Jeremy and I'm the local "Zen master of Product Support" at Wetpaint (according to Patty).
If you have questions about how to use Wetpaint look in the FAQ section or use the "Search this wiki" box in the upper left. If you can't find the answer, post your question in the "Threads" section of the Ask and Answer page, or any other page that's relevant to your topic.
Posting in the forum is the fastest way to get help because it will be seen by many moderators and Wetpaint savvy users. I am but one man.
Interested in being a moderator on Wetpaint Central?
I get asked by users all the time about how to become a moderator here on Wetpaint Central (aka WPC). Here is a list of things we look for in a potential community volunteer moderator:
We typically will only consider a user that has been active on WPC for at least a few months.
We look for users that are familiar with Wetpaint features and regularly provide accurate answers to newbie questions in the forum. If you don't know the answer, you know where to look for it or who to ask.
We look for users that don't provoke or flame other users. You should be calm, cool, and collected rather than snippy, snarky, and sarcastic.
You like helping people and enjoy being a part of the Wetpaint community.
You don't have Wetpaint baggage - meaning, there aren't 20 sites full of users that hate your guts because you used to be a member there, but you burned your bridges. Guess what? When those users come here for help they still won't like you.
To be a moderator you need to be respected, and that means that you have to be respectful of others. You get what you give.
If you feel like you meet all the guidelines listed above, send me a private message and let me know about your interest in becoming a community volunteer moderator on Wetpaint Central.
And remember - you don't have to be a moderator to help out other users here. Just be supportive and answer questions that the newbies ask if you can. Thanks!
Interests
Music
I enjoy playing and recording music.
Some current favorite bands are Spoon, Atlas Sound, Battles, Deerhoof, Destroyer, My Morning Jacket, Silver Jews...
Outdoors
I like camping and hiking. I recently climbed Mt St Helens for the second time.
I have set up some educational wiki websites for my students using wetpaint and they all enjoy using it last year. Thanks Wetpaint for making it easy for both teachers and students to have online collaborative learning.
However, when I introduce wetpaint to my new batch of students this year, I was shocked to find inappropriate advertisement on an educational wiki. To make matter worst, the advertisement site is right in the centre of every page. When you click on it, it shows inappropriate photos of couples. The website is: http://www.gossipgirlshow.com/?utm_source=wetpaint&utm_medium=wpad&utm_term=launch&utm_campaign=gglaunch
When I check on my last year's wiki websites, they are free from all these inappropriate advertisements, all they have are advertisements that's related to education.
Please remove inappropriate advertisements from educational wiki website before parents and other educators accuse us of misguiding their children.
Please act fast - thank you.
Yours Sincerely, Juliana

I just got on to a wetpaint site after being away for only two days, and I had 334 messages in my inbox. It will take me at least a half hour to delete all of those crazy things, and most of them were junk mail - stuff about problems that have already been addressed or ideas people are chatting about. I'm an admin there (www.warriorsfansite.wetpaint.com) and so I get everything sent to moderators+, and it's just sometimes plain old torture deleting all of those irritating things.
What I'm getting to is this: is it possible for "check all" buttons to be installed in the inboxes, so we don't have to click every single little box next to every single little message before we hit "delete"? I'm only allowed an hour on here per day, and I'd like to get something done without having to worry about messages on top of messages on top of messages.
Hope this isn't causing you any trouble. I'm just suggesting.
